This story is absolutely exhilarating. If a person has a dislike or fear of cats, this story will make them want to find a rescue cat, bring him/her home and hope they become as loving, caring and smart as Ginger.
 

The author takes you through their remarkable journey which spans 17 years. They found each other, understood and communicated with each other, and had each other’s back. They established a relationship so precious, secure and gratifying.
 

The author shared amazing stories about Ginger aka Her Royal Highness. Ginger loved jewelry, especially pearls. She would steal them, hide them and later use her paws to wrap them around her. The author also shared how Ginger watched and cared for her when she was sick. The accounts are incredible and heartwarming.
 

Beautiful pictures of Ginger are added throughout the book which brings the story to life. At the end of the book, the author provides the reader “Fun Feline Tips” which every cat owner/admirer should know.
 

I enjoyed the story. I started reading the book and could not stop until I finished it.

I was enjoying Ginger the Cat, and I left the book on a shelf in my 4th Grade class library. I wanted to read it during lunch break, but when I looked for it—I couldn't find it anywhere! I asked my class if anyone had seen it... and Grace, one of my top readers, announced that she had started reading it and it was already her favorite book! She asked if she could keep it so she could finish it... she said she couldn't put it down. What a surprise! I'm going to order more copies for myself and the other elementary teachers... and, of course, Grace gets to keep her copy.
